A quintessential New York celebration unfolded along one of the city’s most iconic Upper East side stretches.

The couple exchanged vows in the intimate Lady Chapel of St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Fifth Avenue before welcoming guests to The Carlyle Rosewood hotel for cocktails, dinner, and dancing.

Dinner followed at the legendary Dowling’s, a room with a character entirely its own. Surrounded by its storied collection of artwork, we kept the design intentionally restrained, allowing the space’s natural presence to lead.

A timeless black-and-white palette was softened through layers of texture—bouncy spring blooms, calligraphed ivory linen menus, and ribbed ivory dinnerware. Guests dined to the sounds of a live jazz band, creating an atmosphere that felt distinctly old New York.

As dinner came to a close, the celebration moved upstairs for dancing, desserts, caviar, and a dedicated martini bar. The evening ended exactly where a New York night should: with nightcaps at the iconic Bemelmans Bar.
