When our couple was looking for a lavish environment in northern california, we knew filoli gardens would be a perfect fit. The expansive gardens allowed us to utilize many different spaces letting the event evolve throughout the evening.
Guests made their way through the estate to the south lawn for ceremony where they were greeted by a lush garden gate draped in flowers. The couple shared their vows under a dramatic floral arbor.
The party continued to cocktailing in the sunken garden, a custom fabric wrap bar anchored the space with plenty of seasonal appetizers and wandering horn players.

As the event moved into the evening, guests dined in a custom glass house atrium adorned with statement chandeliers, floor to ceiling drape, a painted dance floor, romantic floral and china scattered down each dining table.
Other wedding-day highlights included an acrobatic chinese fan dance, a guzheng performance, a live painter, late-night boba and dim sum. Plus an impromptu plunge in filoli’s famed pool, at the onsite after-party. Creative direction while at Alison Events.
